Newtown through to another County Final
Newtown today booked their place in the 2007 Cork County Hurling Final following an easy 1-19 to 2-7 victory over Bride Rovers at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. They will now face the winners of Erins Own v's St. Finbarrs in 3 weeks time.

Naughton fires Newtown home
Newtown had an easier than expected win over a gallant Na Pairasigh side on Saturday evening in Pairc ui Chaoimh. With Sean Og O'Halpin failing a late fitness test, Na Pairsaigh were always going to struggle but when Cathal Naughton scored 1-2 in the space of 5 mins midway during the second half, the outcome was inevitable.
