Rebel boss sticks to his winning formula
Irish Independent Friday September 12th 2003
CORK pulled no surprises when they named an unchanged side for the fifth consecutive game ahead of Sunday's Guinness All-Ireland hurling final against Kilkenny.
Predictably, team manager Donal O'Grady and his selectors decided not to tamper with the winning formula, opting to stick with the same 15 players that have served them well all season.
Diarmuid O'Sullivan has again been named at left corner-back, with Pat Mulcahy wearing the No 3 shirt.
However, there is some speculation locally that O'Sullivan could remain at corner-back for longer than normal to police DJ Carey with Mulcahy picking up the more physical Martin Comerford.
Cork have been blessed to avoid injuries during the year and apart from O'Sullivan's troubles early in the Munster final against Waterford, O'Grady has had few reasons to make changes.
Kilkenny will finalise their team tonight with Tommy Walsh expected to feature again despite picking up an injury in training last week.
