Ben O'Connor's contribution to the Newtownshandrum wins in the Cork County and Munster Club SHC was recognised when he was presented with the Jury's Hotel Sports Award for November.
O'Connor's attacking influence played an integral part in their county final victory over Blackrock and their subsequent voyage in the provincial championship which culminated in a magnificent triumph over Patrickswell.
O'Loughlin Gaels of Kilkenny are Newtown's next challenge.
