John O'Hara takes 'Lord Mayor of Newtown' title
June 11th, 2002 Congratulation to John O' Hara whi is the new Lord Mayor of Newtown. John Topped the poll with over 10,000 first preference votes, the biggest total in the history of this competition. This competition had brought in some badly needed funds to the club so well done to John and his fellow competitors Alan O'Brien, Mary Egan and Tomas McAuliffe for great wokr done for the club.
