Tom Ryan is the new Newtownshandrum Hurling Manager
Former Limerick hurling manager Tom Ryan has been
installed as the new manager of Cork club side newtownshandrum.
Ryan replaces Bernie O’Connor, who was recently
appointed as Kerry manager.
The Ballybrown man boasts an excellent track record, having brought Limerick to All-Ireland finals in 1994 and ‘96. More recently, he enjoyed success with Tipperary side Toomevara and Limerick outfit Croom as well as his home club Ballybrown.
Newtownshandrum won their first county senior hurling championship title in 2000 and will hope that
Ryan can revive their winning ways in the season ahead.
