Limerick County Champions Patrickswell play Cork County Champions Newtownshandrum in a Gold Watch Tournament at Charleville on Easter Monday next, April 16th at 7.00pm. The proceeds are in aid of two very worthy causes, ALJEFF of Limerick and S.H.A.R.E. of Cork.

Patrickswell and Newtownshandrum will be fielding full strength teams for what promises to be a great match for very valuable prizes.

Newtownshandrum, who won their first County title last year, have current Cork hurlers Ben and Jerry O'Connor and Pat and Donal Mulcahy in their side. Patrickswell, who won their 17th County title last year, have current County players Barry Foley and Paul O'Grady in their ranks. They also have well-known greats like Garry Kirby and Ciaran Carey on their team.

A big attendance is expected to see what some say represents the Munster Club Final that nearly was, as both teams were unluckily beaten by a single point in their resepective Munster Semi-Finals.
