St. Mary's take the title

St Mary's Charleville brought another season to a successful clsoe taking the All-Ireland Colleges Sevens title for the eight year in a row and their tenth title in all on Saturday 6th May 2000 at Drumcondra.

They beat Holy Rosary, Mountbellow in the final and along the way overcame Loretto Colleraine, St Mary's, Magherafelt and Loretto, Kilkenny

The girls from Charleville gave an exhibition of class and skill, in total scoring 30-19 and only conceding 1-2 in the competition. The panel was made up of Inter County players from Cork and Limerick
